Bank statement to CSV, every row accounted for.

Turn a PDF or scanned bank statement into a clean CSV: date, description, amount, money in, money out and balance. Before you download, Tieout checks the rows add up to the closing balance the bank printed.

How the check works

Every converter says “accurate.” Tieout adds it up in front of you.

A bank statement proves itself: the opening balance plus every transaction has to equal the closing balance the bank printed. Tieout reads your statement, then does that sum in plain arithmetic, to the cent. The AI only reads the page; it never decides whether the numbers agree.
If it doesn't add up, you don't get a vague warning. When the statement prints a running balance, Tieout stops at the first row where the bank's balance and ours part ways, shows you that row on the page, and tells you the amount it should be.

Questions

How do I know the conversion is right?

Tieout adds it up. Opening balance plus every transaction it read must equal the closing balance the bank printed, to the cent. If it does, you see “Ties out”. If it doesn't, it tells you by how much and, when the statement prints a running balance, exactly which row is wrong.

What happens to my statement?

The file is sent to our server to be read and is deleted as soon as it has been read. The transactions come back to your browser or phone and stay there. The reading result expires on our server within an hour. Nothing is used to train anything.

Does it work with scanned or photographed statements?

Yes. Upload a scanned PDF or photos of each page. The same tie-out check tells you whether everything was read correctly.

Can I convert several months at once?

Yes. Add each month's statement and combine them into one ledger. Tieout checks that each month's closing balance matches the next month's opening balance, so a missing or duplicated month is caught.

Do I need an account?

No. Try it with your own statement or the sample, and see the full result, without signing up.
